Patrick Donovan, N.D., at the University Health Clinic in Seattle considers diet and nutritional/herbal supplementation to be critically important. He also feels it is important to understand the psychological side of the disease process. He feels the mind can affect immunity, since immune cells can send chemical messages to the brain. It is therefore important to transform negative thoughts and emotions because they can be extremely toxic to the body's anti-cancer defense system.

They help with all types of cancer as well as many other health conditions. Through a holistic approach using intense detoxification and aggressive immune system building therapies, progress can be made with most health conditions. They treat fatigue, heavy metal toxicity, pain syndromes, heart disease, Fibromyalgia, digestive disorders, infection, depression, immune system suppression, arthritis, osteoporosis, hormonal problems, and more.

Alternative cancer treatment involves finding the underlying causes to the cancer and then working to reverse and remove these causes. Besides detoxification and immune therapy, they also use homeopathy, naturopathy, ozone therapy, oxidation, chelation, Autonomic Nervous System Repolarization, intravenous and nutritional therapy. Emotional healing is an important part of therapy.
