Integrated Approaches

Alternative Therapies can be combined with Conventional Therapies both for Treatment and to help with Side-Effects. In addition, there are some Conventional Therapies that are being used with few side effects.

We have started a page listing oncologists that are open to alternative/integrated approaches.

Therapies such as Reiki, Qigong, Meditation and Herbal Medicine have proved results on increasing blood count, boosting immune system and releasing stress. So they can work well in conjunction with conventional medicine. Many of these approaches can be used as complementary therapies - that means they can work alongside conventional medicine. As a result, many of the major medical facilities are starting to combine these techniques and others to their traditional programs.

We also believe IPT therapy to be an integrated approach. More and more practitioners are starting to use this approach.
